Is RigDr a repair shop?
RigDr is not a traditional repair shop. RigDr helps collect repair request details, review the job, and coordinate dispatch with mobile mechanics or service providers who may be able to respond.
How do I request help?
Use the Find a Mechanic button, enter your contact details, truck location, truck type, problem description, preferred service time, and emergency status. RigDr saves the request so dispatch can review it.
How fast will a mechanic respond?
Response time depends on mechanic availability, location, truck type, service need, weather, traffic, and urgency. Emergency requests are easier to prioritize when the request includes accurate location and problem details.
Can I track my request?
Yes. After a request is submitted, RigDr can show status updates such as Received, Assigned, Accepted, Completed, or Canceled as dispatch works the job.
Does RigDr handle payment?
RigDr is currently focused on request intake, dispatch coordination, mechanic onboarding, and status tracking. Payment terms should be confirmed directly with the assigned mechanic or service provider unless RigDr adds a separate payment process in the future.

Mechanics can submit a Join as a Mechanic application with their contact information, service area, truck types serviced, specialties, emergency availability, hourly rate, experience, insurance, certifications, and notes.

Yes. Mechanic applications are reviewed before a mechanic is added to the RigDr directory. The goal is to build a reliable network of qualified mobile truck mechanics.
What information helps a mechanic stand out?
Clear service radius, accurate specialties, truck types serviced, emergency availability, insurance details, certifications, years of experience, and honest notes about capabilities all help dispatch make better assignments.
Can a mechanic accept or decline a dispatched job?
Yes. RigDr supports mechanic accept and decline responses so dispatch can keep the job moving and reassign work when needed.

RigDr is built around mobile diesel repair, roadside diagnostics, fleet support, emergency breakdown help, and related mobile truck repair needs.
What should I do in a dangerous roadside emergency?
If there is a crash, fire, injury, hazardous spill, unsafe roadside condition, or immediate danger, call 911 or the proper emergency authority first. RigDr is for repair coordination, not emergency rescue or law enforcement response.
